Suppressors in Every Day Use

Honestly the point of serial numbers was to be able to hold companies accountable for warranty purposes, as well as the hidden agenda of being able to create a paper trail for the government to track who owns the firearm in case it gets stolen.

Seems a bit weak. Paper trail is useful mostly as providence. Some guns already had those, some didn’t. Bat Masterson’s Colt was so discovered a while back. But requiring them - seems like governmental overreach
