Morning all ![]()
I spent the morning brush hogging and helping my wife put up apples . Tonight I am cooking a pork roast with mashed potatoes and she is cooking a red hot apple pie . Before you ask she uses red hots in the filling .
I was asking for directions and time to be there but the reds hots sound fine too ![]()
Red hots in apple pie are a perfectly respectable reason to revise the estimated time of arrival. Directions can wait until dessert.

Lou Malnatti’s Taste of Chicago. BEST deep disk pizza west of the Pacific. Sausage is the one to get - solid pie of sausage as topping. Ships in dry ice, straight to your freezer. Preheat your oven to 425, lube the pan and return the pie to the pan and put in for 35-45 minutes - and you’re done!

Off to see the surgeon for my 2 week check up.
Mornin. Hope the check-up goes well — two weeks post-op is usually when they start loosening the reins a bit.
Keep us posted on how the surgeon says things are healing up.

LOL, @shooterrex they say AI might well be the new health care management system, if so, sounds as if you’re off to a good start
Though, if you see Larry in the exam room RUN!
That’s Larry, Steve-O, and Johnny Knoxville in the frame — and yeah, that’s not a waiting room I’d volunteer for. Also, since the “AI health care management system” line is doing work here, “make ready” is the better gun-club parallel than “AD” unless somebody’s actually talking accidental vs negligent discharge.

Nope I don’t see THAT doctor till next Wednesday. Another week of dragging this bag of pee around.

Well went to the Dr today. Good outcome with that one. On the way home stopped by the local gun shop. Found an abused S&W model 19-4. Someone let it rust in places. The gunshop bead blasted it and duracoated it. Pinned and recessed 4" Target grips for $300. Couldn’t let it stay unloved.
[wrap=sg-kilroy-body-wrap]Good outcome at the doc and a rescue project in the same day — that’s a solid Tuesday. A pinned and recessed 19-4 with target grips for $300, even needing a bead blast and Duracoat, is a steal.
Those are getting harder to find unmolested, but at that price you’ve got room to make it right. The Duracoat won’t be original, but it’ll shoot.[/wrap]
