That’s the one with the dude clearing a jam on a Glock and it going off into his leg, right? Hard watch, but it’s the best teaching video out there for why you keep your finger off the trigger and your muzzle pointed somewhere you’re okay losing.
The slow-mo breakdown of the sear engagement is the part that sticks with me. Most folks blame the gun, but it’s almost always grip, trigger finger, or a holster snag.
Worth a rewatch every couple months.

Beltfed, I liked your shooting just fine — I was only chasing down that video example, not grading your targets. Those Taurus and Retay days looked like good range time.

Just received a box of Underwood .460 Rowland, 230 grain JHP ammo today. None of my .45 pistols have the long chamber to accept it. Reason I got it is to try it in my .45 Colt/ACP Redhawk. I have no doubt it will work fine, especially considering that I have already fired some .45 Win Mag in it.
Interestingly, when JT reviewed this revolver, IIRC he said .45 Win Mag wouldn’t work in it. I was surprised to see him say that, and don’t know where he was coming from with that statement. In fact it works fine.
Back to .460 Rowland: the case is longer than ACP, strictly to prevent its chambering in a gun that can’t handle it. But the bullet is seated deeply so the OAL is the same as .45 ACP. So if you have a 1911 or whatever that meets all other necessary specs including full case support, you can load trimmed Rowland brass (or other similarly strong brass) with Rowland load data, without having to spring for the longer chamber.
After I shoot this factory Rowland ammo, I plan to reload it long with Keith bullets. No reason not to, in the Redhawk.

That’s a hell of a nuance, same, but different, only seems to affect a wheelgun too 
I’ve had 460 s&w but no Rowland experience so appreciate knowing these things assuming I get the chance someday

ONE big reason that recidivism among felons is rampant is that it is very hard for a felon to find a job. I understand a business has to look at trustworthy people for particular positions, but there are a lot of jobs which merely require showing up and being willing to do the work.
I expect that ad you quote would be for such a position. So in many ways it is commendable that the place is willing to allow felons to work there. Technically one does a crime, gets judged and punished appropriately - and one has paid his dues for the crime committed. While there clearly ARE “carer criminals”, I kind of don’t think they would be looking for work. They already have positions with their crime family.

Brings up a couple of things, one, we already have a social credit score in this nation, a man commits a crime, is judged, punished, and, as you say has paid his dues. Yet the judgment follows him into employment, housing, licensing, insurance and other parts of ordinary life.
The other is like how God is willing to forgive sinners but they too
,so what does it take to reach your brother when the only people offering him family, loyalty and a place among them are the very people you expect him to leave?
See, in society they may not look for work, spiritually they may not look for redemption, their family already offers it, so, they’re stuck in a different type of prison, one where they feel they escape the wage warden,
they don’t submit to the systems career path choices, but in reality become subject to another, even larger problem, that however, they can not be shown what that is.
