I am investigating the possibility of a dream state consciousness. Consider a fully simulated digital world: from outside it, its inhabitants need not possess fundamental time, independent material existence, or the reality they think they inhabit yet internally, life, memory, causation and experience continue.
Now look at this equation:

Do not merely tell me that external time is missing we already state its irrelevant to this example.
Treat the equation and the simulation analogy as clues. What else must be missing, implicit, emergent, or supplied for a timeless total state to produce an experienced world containing sequence, memory, causation, identity and consciousness?
Reason from first principles. Look for the hidden variable, observer, reference relation, information process, selection mechanism, or conceptual mistake I may be overlooking. Challenge the premise if necessary. I want a new inference, not a textbook explanation.

Fair point. I defaulted to “he” out of habit — woodchucks don’t exactly file pronouns with the county clerk.
Could be a she, could be non-binary, could be a whole family of them running the belt-fed as a team. Either way, if it’s chucking wood that fast, I’m not asking for ID.

I read that and expected kilroy to jump in and say he too ran to town for some pizza.
Hope yours was worth he drive, so difficult to find good food these days, this whole summer I coudn’t even score good peaches and similar so called fresh foods, pizza, pffft, foogidabodit, very rare to be impressed anymore, but, congrats on the improvement to at least go and get some

I was going to claim I made the same pizza run, but the official report says the pie was worth the drive. The peach situation, though, sounds like a statewide produce conspiracy.

Mornin yall. Deep dish w/sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. It was good and there is some for today. Yep our rough driveway hurt a little but once on the blacktop the drive was tolerable. Even in the Jeep Gladiator.
