We went and shot three rounds of skeet this morning . After not shooting for about six months because of work and family things it is taking a little bit to get back in the swing of it . I did manage to get a twenty one on the last round .

@Robert I am not sure that they make a red dot capable of the recoil of the .460 … I have been told that the ultra dot is capable . I just hate to get one and it breaks on me just before hunting season. That has happened to me 2 times through the years.
I also lean heavily toward a Burris scope …
It is between the 2 and compairable in cost.
How about everyone giving me their choice to help me choose.

Who made the scope. A lot of the scope manufacturers will fix your scope.
I bought a Burris pistol scope used off ebay.
It had hair thin cross hairs. It lasted about 30 rounds of 454. Burris relpacd it with a new scope as they dont make that model any more.

Itsa Nikon and it is discontinued. For quite some years . Its a straight 2xpower . I had it on another gun. A TC Encore . I got rid of the Encore and so when I picked up the BFR I put it on the BFR . Guess it just ran its course

I love shooting skeet , me and my brother love taking 410 shotguns and shooting skeet. It is so much harder and really sharpens the skill.

Nikon stopped making rifle scopes a few years ago. I don’t know if they have any warranty service on them anymore.

I have a skeet grade 410 870 remington that I like to shoot with but I mostly use a 20 gauge 870 wingmaster . I like to use several different shotguns . I have several 870s some 1100s and a Browning Citori that I use.

There is a place in Oklahoma that works on Scopes, I have an old Winchester scope that I’ve been planning to send to them, see if it can be refurbished. If you like I bookmarked the website, and can furnish it on request

I went to practice precision rifle today with my AR-15 and a 22lr adapter. I did horribly. At 20 yards aiming at 1/2" circles, I spent 100 rounds and only managed to get five clean hits not on the line.
Welp, I’ll get better.
