I am posting my 3 favorite firearms here for everyone to see. My hope is others will show their 3 favorite firearms as well.
I restored 2 of these guns, and refinished the third.
The first is my daily carry Colt Frontier Six Shooter. Made in 1901 caliber is 44 WCF, blued and color cased with elephant ivory grips.
Second is a Navy Arms 1873 Winchester in the original caliber 44 WCF made by Miroku. I cut the barrel to 22” to be different. I highly finished the stocks and checkered them. Blued and color cased the rest of the rifle.
Third is a 1886 Winchester in 45-70. I made a new 22” barrel, installed new highly finished wood with checkering. Blued and color cased the rest of the rifle.
When i cowboyed i used these guns every day. If i damaged them i never slowed down. I like functioning works of art, they are never meant to be safe queens! Never understood that! How does anyone enjoy anything sitting in a safe never used. I can see a historical firearm being displayed but not used! But to see beautiful firearms not used seems like a crime to me. So yes I use my guns snd when i scratch them or they get wear that means i love them!
I do plan on retiring a couple of these once i get my own Walker Winchester flattop in 41 Special finished and my Walker Winchester 1892 14” trapper in 41 Special finished. Till then enjoy but share your own favorites that you use and care everyday.

WOW those are stunning
I sold my favorites but now know what to look forward to down the road, currently I just have get-r-done guns
I have too many favorites to limit it to three. So, I will start with my favorite handguns. First my favorite automatic…a series 70 Colt Gold cup, hand accurized by the late Forest Davis, and my first set of ivory grips.
Then my two favorite shooting revolvers, both in 45 Colt. 625 S&W Mountaingun, with custom grips. Then a third Gen SAA, factory ivories, engraved and accurized by local smith/friend.
Next is my current favorite engraved revolver…1899 38-40 in Bledsoe style scroll engraving, deep blue finish, and a set of Paul Persinger liberty eagle ivories, yeah!
Next my favorite 357/shooting…one of only 78 such New Frontiers.
And lastly my favorite factory original 1st gen Colt SAA.
Hope you guys enjoy, I do love them sixguns.

Very nice collection (I know, part of a collection)
When i get back in the house ill post my three. Been running a chainsaw all day. Just cleaning up
Even though i don’t shoot these much anymore, i gotta go with them. Jap Type 99, Browning 1919A4, Mg34
Beltfed…an mg34, OMG! How fast does that thing shoot? Hell, I would be happy with the 1919…on the back of a pickup truck. Better yet a big ole M2.
Thanks for sharing,
BW
That’s a looker
Man ,@Robert you stole the word right out of my head …hang on…
whipping away slobber off the screen
Very Nice !!!
Those guns are right up my alley !! I have the Colt New Frontiers in 4 3/4 “ 44-40, 71/2 “ 44spl. Standard Colt peacemaker 43/4” 44spl. and original Colt Frontier 6 shooter 44-40. Also a model 1892 Winchester takedown in 44-40. I’m very much a 44 caliber fan !! I have about 16feet of reloading bench , with Dillon, RCBS, Lyman, and an old Pacific for reloading presses.
Lots of other “fun stuff “ , but I’ll save it for my next post. I can tell it’s going to be fun here , and I’ll be checking in again soon.
.44’s and .45’s are my calibers. I got a mix of lee, hornady, rcbs die sets.
I probably acquired my dies the same as most people. I bought or traded for them, so mine are also a mixture of most of the “usual suspects “.
Gun shows and the “ second hand “ table in my local gun shop. I’ve been fortunate not to get any bad die sets though , so I’m still keeping my eyes peeled in those same venues. After a lifetime of hoarding reloading supplies and equipment, I’m pretty well set, but I’m still always looking for that oddball piece that I don’t have. Wouldn’t have it any other way !
Thanks for sharing the positive view, I believe we can make it fun, and while its not fun to plug for support all the time I believe I’ll need to as an army runs on its stomach and an online community runs on its financial resources
Until we get some snazy sixguns vitamin supplements to offer we are running solely on member contributions and against a cancel culture who hates our favorite guns
I wanted to use an AI to create clever artwork, they do some neat things quick, and even when I tried some NSFW sites that will create full on porn none I tried will create a firearm of any recognizable form
So everyone @here for less than the price of whatever unpronounceable daily starbucks drink people drink we’re asking people to pledge for a month to help us not just be here but to grow and to counter the anti-gunner movement, so our children can use an AI generator to draw a gunslinger with a man holding a gun, note how AI leaves out the man in the first one where I only qued a gunslinger, but add in a fancy drink (I had to look up popular drinks) and AI just focuses on that
For just 6.00 per month you too can help a fading generation be retained in history
I will be all in on that especially if it makes me shoot better
And the Ranger answered,”Mam I carry a .45 because Colt don’t make a .46”.

One of my favorites. S&W .38 Spl M-14 K-38 SA/DA (some are SA only). Holly grips.
40 years ago I shot pretty well with it. The older I get the better I was.
That goes for more than firearms, that’s a really nice finish
Very nice K38!!! I have one for sale at the shop. You just made me want to get some custom Ivory for it and keep it.
