I may have to get me another one in 45-70 or 450 marlin aint made up my mind. I swear they are so so smooth that SA trigger is so light. and very close tolerances.
mine is a 460S&W and have the 10" barrel I love a LONG barrel :joy:

Look at how much room is left in that cylinder. The 460 is just a LONG 45 Magnum could you imagine an even longer 45.Essentially a 460 is a 45 colt elongated making it a 45 magnum colt. they did that with the 500S&W …ie… 500Bushwacker using the BFR revolver

Good morning Gentlemen. I use both terms 45 Colt and 45 LC. I use the LC term, whether correct or not, because most of the younger gunsels I know…the Sig, Glock, Beretta, ar15, ak, etc…group. Assume you are referring to the 45 ACP, when you say 45 Colt.

And to me this is not nearly as misleading as calling pistols and revolvers the same thing. They are both hand guns, but a revolver is a very different animal from a pistol. This along with the continued referral, by the uninformed media, as all things bomb, grenade, etc. as shrapnel. Bomb and grenade fragments, shards, etc. are not shrapnel…which is a pellet. But it looks like our society, including dictionaries, are now bending to popular usage…sad! And I am bending with the LC. That said.
Later guys,

I will stick with correct terminology and names!
45 Colt is not a 45 ACP (automatic colt pistol) caliber! Blowing a tranny still means a broken transmission to me!!!
Dont care about modern perversion of definitions just truth and reality!

Saml- I personally try to always use the correct term, as defined. My point was, arguing over the use of 45 Colt vs 45 LC is small potatoes, in comparison with what is currently going on in our country and world. And I support none of that. But I certainly wouldn’t call the use of either 45 Colt or 45 LC a perversion.

Now, when it comes to Mr.Keith, Skeeter Skelton and John Taffin. If they had decided to refer to the 45 Colt round, as the .45 BB ( Bad Boy). I might very well also….there will never be another three like them, ever!
