Seattle is a few feet above sea level with hills all over the place. Everyone has either giant SUVs, Crew Cabs, or Teslas. A few peanut cars mixed in with bald tires. When 300,000 people all try to get on the freeway in the morning, only takes one or 2 of those peanut cars to send us into gridlock. All vehicles are equal once they lock up the brakes.
True
No but Amish in my area seem connected in that field, any in your area to check with?
In WV I would say that the najority of vehicles are mid sized SUVâs and Pickups and I would say 90% of all vehicles are 4x4âs or AWDâs cars of some type. We usually just pull each other out of the ditch if they aint all busted up
There are Amish in area I see now and then doing construction work, a lot of metal roofing mostly, but there is always a go between guy driving a truck with a name on it, you can tell he is not Amish. I will guess he gets the jobs and brings in the Amish workers to actually do the work ? I may possibly ask around.
The extra 6 feet will help you . Your right about that. Of course olif you leave the design whete it can be added into that may also be an option.
I would go straight to the Amish . Middleman will usually make it higher .
I think it has to do with having a Contractor license, I doubt the Amish believe in such stuff and in order to do the work they need someone with a license and insurance.
Someone plowed the road. We did use the tractor to move the snow off of my sisters driveway. Her driveway winds back and forth. The John Deer 4x4 tractor with a cab does good. If it snows much more I might need to clear my driveway but for now my Jeep isnt having any problem getting in and out.
They donât drive, being an Amish taxi is popular.
If you have them in your area they do have their own yellow page type directory, go to where ever you know them to be and ask, they are often very happy to share resources and refer other Amish.
You shouldnât, if you need a permit pull one as a homeowner and hire your helpers

I can do work on my property however I see fit where Iâm at, but I would want someone with insurance at least if they will be on my property doing work, I donât want someone getting hurt and end up being sued. I know the Amish donât pay for insurance nor believe in it, but they could sue you ? the middle man guy I saw with the Amish here had some sort of construction company name on his truck so I was guessing he was setting up job under his license and insurance, I will guess if he is setting up jobs for the Amish and his license and insurance covers his butt and if any Amish worker got hurt? I have nothing against them and would possibly use them as long as my butt is covered against and issues on my property.
This site must be selling my info, every time I post on here I get several spam emails immediatelyâŚi have gotten six in last 15 minutesâŚ
I know a couple built a brand new house And 1 month after it was completed it burnt to the groundâŚin this state think they all have to be licensed .
We see someone in the ditch here we thank God one less moron from California on the road.
I had a guy put up my barndominium made from Mueller metal. It is a great product. It is not the least expensive though. They have kits in certain sizes that may be a little less than a custom building like I had built.
Be sure you have your building decided on before pouring the slab. The building will need weld plates put it the slab as it is poured. That is how they attach the steel to the slab so it doesnât move.
Looks like something the local Squirrel and Cat population will enjoyâŚ
I also watch that and do small liability waivers when someone does any work if theyâre not insured,
I donât even have our own ads set up let alone anything so fancy as that, no idea if thereâs a correlation what or why, donât have any issues myself
Had one with an Ar and binary so I could afford to run the trigger
Truck read 1* on the way home tonight, snow is dry and extra cold
