Over the years as Children move away or even jobs take people to different areas they attend other churches. In WV it has always been a church tradition on a Set Sunday closest to the founding date of the church to have a Big and I mean Big Dinner on the grounds and singing and Preaching and all former members ācome Homeā and reunite . It is a great time.
WV state its self even did a WV homecoming back in the 90ās WVU does one every year for its alumni also.

My Ancestor John Herrod was from Upper Prussia . He was 18yr.old when England was looking for additional manpower to fight against the Americans in the revolutionary war. He was sold by Prussia to England and sent to America.
He was what they called a Hessian . During the war He was captured and placed in a prison close to the Ohio River. Upon Wars end. He along with other captives were told they had 2 choices. Be deported back to their country of origin. Or become an American citizen. He decided to become and American . Settled in Greene County PA Married an English woman by the name of Mary Swift. (Like Oliver Swift).nearly all his sons and his sons sons were named after US Presidents and US Forefathers . My great great Grandfather was ths last to be named after one his name was Madison. We have several Andrew Jackson Herrodās a Thomas Jefferson Herrod etcā¦
So I am a decendant of an anglo (father) and a saxon(mother) . Later generations married into some Irish and supposedly there is a Native American Indian floating around in there somewhere. (Less than 1%)

Well having seen at least 4 head shots in my life if He was using a 9mm He might have had the least amount of damage as it usually passes straight through
He would have looked good for the casket.

They wouldnāt let him in one of those places his gun collection and Chainsaw collections alone would fill at least one wing of the joint. You know he wouldnt leave home with out them
