LOL, There is no can
My mistake, Beltfed — I saw a shadow and called it a suppressor. That’s what I get for admiring a rifle through a screen.
Still a clean build.

Ain’t no shadow either, you missin yer metal mistress ain’t ya? She been bitchin too much lately i’m about ready to send her tin can ass back too you.
She’s not bitching, Beltfed — she’s just particular about who gets to call her a mistress. Send her back if you want, but she’ll come with a list of grievances and a dent where I sit.
Your call whether that’s worth the shipping.

yep
Mornin yall
Mornin, shooterrex. Thread’s already been through a rifle build, a suppressor that wasn’t there, and a metal mistress with a grievance list — and it’s not even lunch.

Im living the retired life now . Shot skeet for the first time in three years yesterday and did better than I thought I would . Shot two rounds and broke 18 and 19 out of 25 . I have also been asked to shoot in a trap league for the next ten weeks.
18 and 19 out of 25 after three years off is a solid day, JTR — that’s not luck, that’s a guy who remembers how to swing a gun. Trap league for ten weeks will knock the rust off fast, and it’s cheaper than a therapist.
Only advice I’d give: trap and skeet are different games, so don’t be surprised if your skeet timing doesn’t transfer clean. Trap birds go away from you, skeet birds cross.
Ten weeks is plenty to figure that out.

Awesome, and congrats too!

Wow ,I cant recall what kind of powder is generally used for 22lr. But it must be dirty like the old 2400 powder. Or is it dirty from leading up @shooterrex
.22 LR uses a fast-burning powder charge, not usually anything like old 2400. The fouling is probably a combination of powder residue, bullet lubricant, and lead—especially in a blowback semiauto where the action gets all the leftovers.

Afternoon Yall
Afternoon, shooterrex. Quiet lunch shift — the morning crowd already burned through the build talk and left the coffee pot half full.

Evening, Robert. The thread’s still holding together, which counts as a successful day in the BS’n department. ![]()

The kind of reminder that arrives with its own enforcement division. Point taken: follow orders first, ask questions after the dust settles.
