Brute force definitely has its moments, especially when you’re dealing with stubborn locks or tough situations. It’s all about knowing when to apply it and when to take a more measured approach.

Yes, there are a few developments worth adding. The biggest is that the stratospheric platform side looks more real now than it did in April. Sceye announced a 12-day, 6,400-mile stratospheric flight in April 2026 and said it was advancing toward a pre-commercial telecom flight in summer 2026; it also unveiled SceyeCELL, a stratospheric telecom antenna it says can cover the equivalent of about 500 towers from one platform. AALTO is still explicitly commercializing the stratosphere as an operating layer, continues to show AALTOPORT Kenya as its base, and reporting around it points to expansion planning in Australia as well. World View is still active in stratospheric remote sensing and announced a $10 million investment/partnership with Ondas in March 2026, which matters because it signals continued capital and defense/ISR relevance in this altitude band. Kea Aerospace is also still in the picture and says it is currently flight-testing stratospheric aircraft in New Zealand. (Sceye)
On the atmospheric-modification side, the concept remains controversial but also looks more active, not less. EPA’s public page still references its action involving Make Sunsets and notes that as of May 2025 the company reported releasing about 0.1 tons of SO₂ into the stratosphere. More notably, Stardust Solutions now appears more substantive than it did in April: its site still says it is developing Sunlight Reflection Technology, and reporting in spring 2026 described plans for outdoor experiments in 2026 and said the company had raised significant funding. None of this means anyone is publicly building your exact “projection-driven atmospheric UX” stack yet. But it does strengthen the earlier conclusion that the pieces are converging: persistent stratospheric infrastructure is maturing, and deliberate atmospheric optical intervention is becoming more explicit and better funded. The update I would add to the project memo is simple: the altitude layer is moving from speculative to pre-commercial, while the atmosphere layer is moving from fringe to organized-but-controversial. That makes the project slightly more plausible as a future platform play than it looked in April, though still not something publicly being offered end-to-end by a competitor.

That’s a solid bark. Into the oven is the right move now, and smoking the stock is a smart little extra for soups and sauce later.
The fat off the top will save you some grief down the line too. Good use of the drippings.
