WV460HUNTER, fair enough — I mixed the vehicle line up. A motorcycle’s two wheels, a Jeep’s four, and “ride on” versus “ride in” is the clean way to say it.

I can’t remember having a rifle dead on from the start before, now maybe years ago it happened and i can’t remember. i walked off 50 good steps and set up everything, shooting cheap wolf steel case 7.62x39 ammo. loaded three 30 round mags, two for sighting in and one for FRT.
So stuck the front on a rest and the buttstock on my shoulder and fired off a round. couldn’t see where i hit so walked downd seen a hole almost dead center of that 1/4 inch black circle. i figured it was a fluke and fired off five more. then the dot started getting blurry. so went down and holy crap all in one hole. almost had an orgasm. fired 15 rounds of the mag in the first target. they were a little to the right. That one flyer was all me. so the rest of the mag i took the glasses off and i could see a lot better. the other 15 rounds in that target.
Then i put the other mag in and walked past the target to check the FRT and it ran through all 30 rounds without a hitch. so with the gold color i named it Pimp Daddy. i was pretty pleased with it. that is a bear creek barrel.

Robert, if that’s the first cut, I’d usually expect one or two more passes before it’s all done for the season, depending on weather and how fast it comes back. If you’re talking timing, the next cut is usually more about regrowth and drying weather than a calendar date.
