The official Good Morning, Good Night and just plain BS'n thread

Gosh! I sit here in Dallas and think I’m freezing when it’s 50 degrees outside. Listening to all you guys talking about snow only makes me shiver. I know I once lived in the north, but I seem to have acclimatized to the warm weather completely, and quickly. I can’t wait for February when the temps will be back in the 70’s and 80’s.

Yeah it has been pouring for hours, all trapped up at the house doing jack crap. Right before the snow hit I changed the oil in the jeep. At least that was accomplished.

Hope everyone is staying warm.

@Robert hope ya got plenty of wood.

Did I ever tell you :thinking:we had a wood stove growing up.

I thought my name was hey , get wood till I was about 16.

I did all that as a kid, and I’ll say these newer stoves are not the same as existed back then, I often don’t have to much panic in the morning where as a kid I remember my dad having to be up feeding the stove often and it was  in the morning

Today I am struggling though, it’s pretty damn frigid, but wood heat just can’t be beat for actual warmth, it’s pretty much 99% of what I rely on.

The wife is at the age where I can’t rely on her that’s for sure :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

The deer haven’t been seen for the last few days, likely bedded down conserving as much as they can, it’s been bitter.

Morning all

Wow it is supposed to drop down to 8 degrees tonight we got a good 6 inches last night . Crew I am working with had throw away sand bags . So I was able to grab 7 of them out of the dumpster before leaving work Friday. I knew the storm was coming cause of the accuweather forecast. I kept 4 bags gave the wife 3 bags to put in the back of her truck. (Nissan Frontier)

I seen a thing one time where a guy had a chute from the wood shed to the house and he would open the door to the chute inside and the wood would slide down into the house :exploding_head:

Morning gents :hot_beverage: , just watched a Christmas movie Fatman, Mel Gibson as Santa. A good reminder Santa isn’t always jolly, he is also a moral reminder ( hence coal ), and he likes guns. You might like that for afternoon or evening entertainment WV460HUNTER.
