I had a buddy seemed to be making it a pass time blowing up guns. He demolished an AR in 6.5 Grendel, and two Alum-framed Dessert Eagles in 44 Mag. The last one. of those he SERIOUSLY DEMOLISHED. Each time it was shooting reloaded ammo he had made “assumptions” about being OK to shoot. He has become lots more careful about how he reloads now.

I must say, the alum-framed Dessert Eagles are not nearly as impressively built as my steel one. Lots lighter, but don’t accept the same variety of loads and finicky about what they shoot.

That’s probably why it’s always best to start with low charges and work up.

I did lots of reading and study before even getting into doing the reloading . It isnt a thing to be taken lightly

That guy from Kentucky ballistics almost died from a reload in a 50 BMG . It was an old slap round of unknown origin.
