So temps are slighly lower today it rain3d back toward the house yesterday eveing I left work it was 91 drive 65 miles it was 72. Was like paradise..

It’s always a thing you remember when a gun blows up. A while back I was in a carbine class, and a classmate’s gun blew the side of the upper receiver a couple yards forward of the line. Nobody got hurt, thank G.d. But it keeps making me wonder what went wrong to cause it.

He was shooting .223/5.56, a Palmetto gun, no idea how old. Maybe he was shooting a range pickup with the bullet shoved too far into the casing? We were practicing clearing malfunctions that day.
