Isaac and Ishmael did indeed make up, and Ishmael recognized Isaac’s firstborn status by allowing him first at Abraham’s funeral. This is indicated by Isaac appearing in the verse before Ishmael in that verse:

Genesis 25:9 His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre.

But maybe you meant where Esau made up with Jacob and kissed him in Genesis 33:4?

EDIT: BTW, Esau can still be a model for the Arab world today, since Esau married into Ishmael’s family in Genesis 28:9.

A strong point for the validity of a religion is the fulfillment of prophecy.
When a religion has only one, it better come to pass; if not, then the religion is false.

This the the corner Islam has painted itself into - their only prophecy is that the entire world will be muslim.

Technically the earth can become a radioactive hell, with a single muslim survivor, then the religion is valid.

This is not an adversary to be bluffed, reasoned, threatened, negotiated…

Dead is Dead, has it ever really mattered how ? rather be judged by twelve than carried by six, conflict and war are just part of what humans do, It does not matter who starts it, who gets involved, it’s going to happen as history proves time and time again. I strongly believe you can defend your life in whatever way you can with no regard to what someone else thinks. Leaders of Countries with support from the citizens also do the same. War and conflict are never going away.
