Thermite is funny stuff. The guy who invented napalm taught chemistry at college. He said they used magnesium detonators so when the Japs put the fire out the magnesium would dry out after a while - and relight the residual napalm. Sneaky bastard!
We had a thermite grenade on each radio and green code box. If you thought the gooks were going to get you, you burned the radios and encrypters (the so-called “Green Machine”).
Many years ago the wise guys at MIT brought a bunch of students to Sculley Square station (kind of a hub for MTA trains. The students would walk onto the train in the front, then walk off in the back and rejoin the line to board. Meanwhile a couple wise guys put a pair of thermite grenades on the rear wheels, basically welding them to the track. Then everyone got off - and the train tried to leave but couldn’t move. Caused one heck of a mess in rush hour traffic.

Robert , that is one of the most famous photo’s in history, used by FDR to raise war bonds to fund the WW2. All the ones I saw were more of a landscape nature. I just don’t think our sharper viewpoints would be welcomed.

Since i got these precision rifles i’m looking at shooting longer distances, so i was looking for something online and came across a long rage shooting forum, so i say well doggies, maybe i might join so i looked a little bit and holy crap, these guys scope rings cost more than my whole gun. lol
A thread on bipods and they were naming ones i never heard of, which that ain’t no surprise but when i looked them up and seen the price i gasped for air. Anyway, didn’t none of them have any thing that resembles what i have and i thought i ain’t never postin none of my cheap stuff here. these guys would tear me a new one. Place reminded me of arf. com.
so i got off there and was hurt that all i had was cheap stuff.
