I was channeling my inner pirate
And yes I know I replyed on my own message lets consider it a continuation ..
First off i don’t know why some of these pics are bigger than the others. Also shoulda waited another hour where the sun was up more. they kinda dark.
So this is what i spent a lot of money on last week, the cantilevers may not work. they sit kinda high. those are 50 mm scopes. may have to go with rings. gonna try them first.
First is the Ruger precision rifle, the bolt on this thing is really fast and smooth, a lot better than the Savage. it’s in 308. it’s well built and heavy. stock also folds. It will use both types of mags. All three have Hawke scopes on them.
Next is the Savage 110 Precision. nice gun, but not as well made as the Ruger.. bolt is kinda rough and harder to pull up. but it’s not bad. it was also 300 bucks cheaper. it’s in 308 too. only able to use AICS mags.
Next is the Christensen arms 22 mag, it’s light as a feather. carbon barrel. the pics all show it with a 15 round mag but it came with a 9 round rotary mag. i have three 15 rounders on order. that 9 round is hard to reach up in there and get out. It uses the Ruger mags. The stock folds on it too. and wow the trigger is amazing on this thing.
Which one is more accurate? we will see.
Mornin yall
Interesting looking, curious on the design, have you removed the bolt and checked it out yet?
