I needs help, this one has me bumfuzzled. the two outside lights are not working and they are getting power. the two red wires go to the lights, yeah i know wrong color. these lights have worked for years now this crazy stuff. the two connections go to a switch, i have tested switch, it’s ok. i even put a new one on, still a no go. i have bypassed it and put the two wires together and nothing

The lights work, you can put a jumper to light wire to battery and they come on. iwhat am i missing here?

No ground wire, the ground is inside the housing only a hot wire comes out of the lights. i did clean the ground in the housing.one was a little rusty but i sanded the connection and got it clean.
