Moore had previously been kicked out of the Senate Republican caucus after attacking fellow Republicans for not taking up a special session in 2023 to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis over the county’s indictment of President-elect Donald Trump.
So the banishment was an anti-Trump and deep-state protectionist move.
The Georgia state constitution is also clear that legislators cannot be held to account for anything they say during a legislative session, either civilly or criminally.

Yes, he had hurt their feelers, it’s absolute bullshit yet who will hold them accountable for their actions barring him?

BS is right, as far as I was aware it was illegal to prevent an elected member of the House or Senate including State Levels from serving their duties in an official capacity during legislative sessions. But what do I know?
