Ok, all still in the investigation stage I’ve assembled some of the new software on a single new instance

OK, WHY?

First off, if you’re not aware of how large social median has become do some web searches and reading, it’s astounding, and everywhere.

It’s astoundingly powerful.

Why us here?

First off, the large companies you know are private, they make their own rules, those rules have long oppressed the firearms community.

X has been (achem) liberated, somewhat, there’s still shadow banning and reports of people outright banned and losing their verified status after paying for it.

Along comes the decentralized idea, same social sharing, but individual and privately owned servers, that can federate, speak to one another.

When Elon Musk took over Twitter the already existing decentralized platforms flooded with users, as well new platforms sprung up.

They lie like hell.

Firearms, conservative views and MAGA supporters are shut out by the developers, groups who create lists and employ bots to run 24/7.

The point of the SIXGUNS FIREARM FEDERATION is to create a platform that evades all those obstacles, make no mistake, we are at war and destroying our coms is imperative to our enemies.

We need coms, the software exists.

We also need tech savy help, those who appreciate what’s at stake to roll up their sleeves and pitch in.

Each is it’s own separate software, but, like Mastodon, being on one can associate with others, it will come down to preference as to a favorite, we may keep all, can’t say, I plan to add more to try.

I had to shut off email verification as smtp settings fail

but everything seems to be going against me on this project, trying to set us up a dedicated server and it’s not going at all as imagined, had one set until I read the TOS :roll_eyes: leftist fruit salad

Others I’ve hit up never respond, just wtf idk

@Robert Ah so you’re using Lemmy, i was using another reddit alternative earlier, Postmill, but there’s not much development to it and there’s no support for it, the creator is also a raging liberal.
