i have a Burris 2X on my 454. plain old cross hairs. the higher powered pistol scopes really only work with a good rest. they show how much the pistol moves soooo well.

Well see thats what I was using is a 2X but I was considering an ultradot . They claim they can take the recoil

not sure what an ultradot is. if it has a lifetime warranty give it a try.
the current Burris is the replacement they sent me. the one i bought used off ebay with hair thin cross hairs broke on the 454. the right side of the cross hair broke off.
