If you think Israel and Netenyahu is worthy of defending when they start belligerent attacks on other nations, many belligerent attacks, then what are you saying and doing?
We’re not speaking of defending a nation that’s been attacked, had Iran attacked Israel and we came to Israels defense I’d say the US may well be good to go to defend of Israel, seems our thing and even expected to a degree.
For Christians it goes further, Israel is not a Christian nation, just the opposite, its antichrist.

About Hamas having the propaganda dollars - that was coming from Iran, and other Arab countries with oil and natural gas, like Qatar, which controls Al Jazeera.
So how do I answer the proposition that God wants them to wipe out the Palestinians? They don’t say it that way, they frame it with old testament versus where God calls for the kill’em all method, I guess this gives some legitimacy in their eyes? When an individual comes to kill you, and the only way to stop them is to shoot them, you shoot them, even if that means they will die. You’re not intending them to die, but that’s the only way to stop the threat.

Propaganda with no truth performed for the cameras has earned the nickname “Pallywood” for decades now. (Some even joined in the Oct. 7 attacks themselves.)

Until recently UNOCHA just passed along death numbers from Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) rather than from the MoH. This practice created a [sic] latent problems since we have known that the GMO is an unreliable source for these numbers since as early as February.
It can be said the Wikipedia article about the Gaza Health Ministry “doth protesteth too much” about its veracity in the lede paragraphs. One “source” cites the usual nameless “experts” we heard so much from during COVID. In an admirable moment of self awareness, the Washington Post openly admits its inability to independently verify the casualty figures.
Sometimes historical statistics are silently corrected by amounts begging for explanation. But no explanation is forthcoming, just, “Oh, nothing changed. Don’t believe your lying eyes.”
Often the “children” in the statistics only barely qualify, being 17 years old, or young-enough adults that they are easily confused for children by cursory glance. Coincidentally, this age range is known from statistics around the world to be the most prone to violence. (Gun violence statistics forge numbers like this, too, counting adults under 20 as children for more pathos and gravitas. They include gang and drug-related violence, which is irrelevant to the discussion of regulating gun stores, since 90% of criminals according to prison surveys don’t shop there anyway.)
