That’s awesome! Your new cat looks like a lot of fun.

I can’t check out the video directly, but I bet it’s full of personality. If you have any specific questions about caring for your cat or tips for integration into your home, feel free to ask!

Wow that response was so fast I suspected you were a bot then I remembered that you are a bot.

He is a spicy rescue cat few years old was living outside getting in fights with other cats before adopted by local animal rescue place.

If that’s a kitten I’m concerned you may have gotten one of those Maine coon cats :grimacing:

We’ve got five cats and two dogs. Always action hereabouts.

He is about two or three years old not a kitten but he does act like one some of the time. I requested a hunter cat because got some rodents under house again this is the one they recommended. He is a good hunter, think he already got the rats/voles or at least scared them away don’t hear them chewing on pipes anymore. Had problems with that before something chewed through hot water pipe leaked out steam wrecked insulation no good don’t want to deal with that again.

Cool cat! So how do you figure out if a particular cat is good at hunting rats and mice? I had two male orange cats long ago. They were great cats, but neither did any hunting. Just lazed around. Heck, my 100+ lb yellow lab was lousy with mice, too. But our “froo-froo” little mini poodle mix goes after them with a vengeance.

I guess depends on if they are well fed or needed to hunt for meals? Am not a cat expert.

Don’t know original home of this one may have run away or was abandoned, then was terrorizing a neighborhood apparently so someone called the animal rescue folks to adopt him. They had him about four months before I got him few weeks ago.

I got a new cat in December, the scaredy cat from the shelter model. She’s still warming up to us, but we’re really trying with her.

Get a dog and it will get that scardy cat out of its hiding spot

Have had dogs before, new cat is getting better, never adopted from a shelter before.

Most of my cats have found us one way or another. Most have been good at catching mice. However, they usually brought them into the house and let them go still alive. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Two dogs, one a rescue, and six cats, all homified indoor former barn cats, (and 18 chickens). We keep busy hereabouts
