Watching the film I was reminded 1000% of US politics and Trumps own lawfare battles.

I think some of it is jealousy and envy of a people who, despite the hate and the odds, have not only survived but a majority of them have become successful in many endeavors (Albert Einstein, Mark Zuckerberg, Joe Lieberman, etc.).
With that said, I also try to understand the Palestinian point of view as a people who once lived in Israel for about two thousand years, many side by side with others of the Jewish and Christian faith (I understand there are Palestinian Catholics and Christians as well), and who claim a struggle for what they believe is their land. But I also agree that if attacked, Israel has a right to defend itself. The Oct. 7 attack by Hamas was horrendous, and the kidnapping of innocent Israelis was also horrendous. I canât imagine what the anguish the families of the hostages must be going through. At the same time, I see footage of innocent Palestinian children killed as collateral damage, and to me thatâs equally horrendous. I canât believe Hamas would risk the lives of innocent citizens theyâre supposed to protect, serve and govern by doing what they did. I wish it would all end for the benefit of both sides. Again, I donât know what the solution is to find a lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. I only hope and wish both sides can eventually (and quickly) find that peace and be able to live side by side as friendly neighbors, as impossible as that may seem nowadays.
