Islam - Israel & NYC

What do these three have in common?

The Mayoral Democratic contender for NYC

is using AI video of the genocide in Gaza to enrage people so they vote for him

IF,

If you can wrap your head around the how, WAR in the name of RELIGION , go next to the why

What affect can a Mayor have in NYC with respect to US opinion on Israel?

The mayor is the chief executive officer, centralizing executive power

i.e. NYC Mayor is on par with the US president concerning jurisdictional powers and the likelihood of Mamdani being elected is quit high, if he does this now, whats to be expected from him after being seated?

Even if you consider Israel irrelevant to the US, Mamdani is bad for New York and the US.

He is a radical and a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), endorsed by Bernie Sanders and AOC. His platform includes making the city pay for free buses, government-controlled grocery stores, government-controlled child care, increased safety regulations, increasing the minimum wage to $30, and increased corporate taxes. He tweeted #DefundTheNYPD in 2020 and opposes bail and incarceration.

These authoritarian, pro-crime policies can only mean bad news when additionally combined with the fact that he is a Muslim in a very political way, when most of NYC is not. Mamdani would pave the way to religious discrimination and violence targeting Christians, Jews and eventually atheists as well once they cease to be useful to Islamic interests.

For example, Mamdani refused to denounce the slogan “Globalize the Intifada,” referring to the exportation of Palestinian terrorism to the United States and the world. When still a college student, Mamdani co-founded a chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, which is one of the primary instigators of the violent campus takeovers we have been seeing since October 11, 2023. Due to the crimes which SJP and its partner organizations incited and defended, their clubs are being ostracized and defunded by universities like UW-Madison, UCLA, Yale (Yalies4Palestine is SJP), and Barnard College (mostly because the Trump administration is, thank G.d, threatening to defund the schools over Title VI civil rights violations perpetrated by these clubs, which the universities effectively protected and allowed to proceed). Notably, Mamdani’s Muslim father is a professor of anthropology, political science, and African studies at Columbia University. These departments are hotbeds of anti-Western, anti-American, racist and antisemitic rhetoric across academia and are currently being investigated by the Trump administration at Columbia. It appears that to the Mamdanis, violent campus rhetoric is a family business.

You don’t have to imagine what would happen in NYC if Mamdani became mayor with this kind of personal history; we saw it already when BLM rioted in 2020. Many of the same activists merely reprised their roles on campus.
