I used to collect them like guns but sold off a few and the only ones i have left are these.
This was the very first crossbow sold to the public, whammo. had an 80 pound pull. won’t say what i done but i got in trouble with it at age 14. yep i’m 69 now. it’s that old. still have the original old wooden bolts that came with it. the practice arrows are long gone
I can use a crossbow during the regular bow season, but want something I can use in our extra season in January also.
I have a old wooden one with bow but missing the trigger mechanism, think you have parts laying around?
Nah, ain’t got no parts for it, never even thought about getting extra parts but i was just a kid back then too.
I need to get one of those for “silent but deadly”
So as to thin out old Macdonalds deer herd unawares @mjrfd99
I have a compound cross bow around here somewhere. Last time I used it was to get a line over a tree limb to get radio antennas up.
worked well I bet
I’d like to get a crossbow one day. I was looking into them, but they all seem to be compound crossbows nowadays. They don’t sell any recurve limb type crossbows?
I’d check eBay, I have one, as I recall , but its missing the trigger mechanism, when I was searching parts I found the same bow on eBay for less than or close to 100.00 so I dropped my search for parts, its just a wall hanger now.
I dont know but they would definitely be slower than the aforementioned type
