Interesting first article about BRIC and the US dollar. But it goes on to say:
“Putin confirmed that Russia is not abandoning the dollar, it is “simply refusing to use the dollar as a settlement tool.”

The new system will be “using the groundwork of the systems in each country in exchanging of financial information,” the Russian president said.”
Not abandoning but refusing to use it? Not sure what that means.

IMO
It means he too wants his country to be prosperous and to make money, so, if Trump can get our shit together we’re still gold, if not, plan B for Russia and shit show for us.
