Those primers are crimped ? OR AM I seeing things ?

How did you come by that surplus powder ?

They are not crimped, only look that way. I ordered that powder from GI Brass when it was on sale years ago. I purchase 48 pounds of it. The powder is a very slow lot of 4895 which loads close to 4064 data. I use it in a few cartridges. GI Brass

I just store it under the bench. It comes in 8 pound plastic containers. There’s not as much as there once was.

I bought 32lbs in 8 lb jugs of Data 2200, equivalent to AA 2200 back around 2000-2001. 16 bucks for an 8 lb jug or something like that. Store what I don’t use in the closet in the basement. Thought it was a lifetime supply of 223 and 22 hornet powder when I bought it, but really it didn’t do more then about 10,000 rounds. Down to the last jug. Tech support says it will keep a long time. Should have bought more.

Yes, should have bought more. I have a way of saying that too. I purchase three 8 pound jugs of Data 85 powder [Ramshot Hunter] but it has went pretty fast also.

I have never used that ramshot ,is it similar in burn rate to H110?

Ramshot Hunter is a slower burning rifle powder more like 4350.
