You guys have gotten me so wound up, I read way too much into your last comment. I sincerely apologize…hopefully I may fit in.
I spent 30 years in the National Resources Conservation Service, formerly the SCS of the USDA. I started out as an NHQ trainee out of graduate school, and retired state economist for LA.

I should not have made my last challenge…I have apologized for that. But if any of you think SamL was being gracious to me, you are an idiot! I in know way initiated this…give it a rest!

Ok.Great. Are you on medication for maybe anxiety issues?
Also, would love to hear your stories about stompin’ in the dirt with Marines and Army Black Belts.
See, typically, fyi, when you apologize you cease hostilities.
Maybe you need to review, change perception, think how others see you
This reminds me of a song
You never know just how you look through other people’s eyes
Could be that, could be old and cranky, hell could be we’re tools
Seriously BW or BBII, if you find you have emotional issues things like vitamin shortages are often the reason, other simple things too, not enough water intake, we are mostly water and our brains rely on it, so if you’re not an AI system sent to poke fun at us and do find yourself thinking people are mean to you when they are not, take a health inventory, or, see if you live to close to power lines or cell towers, something else may be triggering you and it might be something you can fix, then people wont have to walk on egg shells around you and will enjoy your company
Absolutely dude. Actually the only Marine black belt I remember fighting, had just switched to the army, and was a new 1st lieutenant instructor in our university ROTC program. I had just earned my 1st Dan black belt and the head instructor wanted to see how good this guy was. He was Frightening looking…my height and very muscular. I was a skinny 155 lbs., he had a good 50 lbs. on me. But after a single 3 minute round he was Done…not just beaten, but completely overwhelmed. I went on that senior year to qualify as an all SEC Martial arts team member, by both tournament finishes, and as a black belt. My last match, many years ago, was a loss to one of my early instructors Oliver Miller, he retired the North American heavy middle weight full contact champion. My Sunday sparing partner at the time, won the years world heavyweight Taekwondo black belt division in Chicago. I beat him 2 out of our last 3 rounds. And I am pretty sure there were several army A&M blackbelts I faced during those years.
But since then my wife and I joined a very much self defense system. Including Juho, aikiho, as well as goho/karate…we each made 4th Dan Kioshi/senior instructors in both Kempo and kobujusu. When we moved here from KY I was preparing for my San Dan 1st master level…oh well. I still feel proud of my meager martial arts accomplishments. As well as my professional, academic, marital, and financial accomplishments. And
I have never felt any need to belittle, make fun of, or lie about someone. I treat others at least as nicely as I would have them treat me. But as I have age, 68 years next month, I find myself less and less tolerant of insults and vailed threats from others. You may want to ruminate upon that.

That’s pretty cool. I did a bit of wrestling and
Taekwondo. More recently I’ve found that
MMA is a better balance for me. I’m only 65. Still trying to figure things out.
I did some searching in this thread.
Couldn’t find anyone who insulted you or threatened you. Ruminate on that , if you want.
