The Amish (Strict sect of Baptist left England) because they wetent allowed to free worship God. The soldiers would best them etc.. it was popular for soldiers to wear mustaches . So when the protestants came to America they decided in protest to the oppression they wpuld never don mustaches again. America 250 yrs. Ago this Saturday was founded on a Protest againt the King of England. There is nothing wrong with protest when it is based in truth. So what if some people protested against the Catholic( Universal) Church . There are sects of Protestant I dont agree with totally either. But they mainly have one thing in common thats salvation through Christ Jesus. Do the Catholics not believe that it is Jesus who brought salvation to the world ? Your answer will be yes . So the attempt by Catholics and Catholic Church to deligitimatize Baptist ,Methodist , or other protestant religions is without Merit because we all believe the key is through the same person The Son of God Jesus Christ . ---
