Now the first one i named Donald, it is patriotic and really likes to show off itās colors. sometimes it is too loud though. always have to wear ear protection. and sometimes it just completely misses the target.
Now this one i named JD, kinda plain lookin and like Donald in many ways, when i stand them side by side they have knocked each other over YET. Pretty sure they will resist each other at some time. just hope when they do have the slugfest they donāt hurt each other cerakote finish. have not fired JD yet so donāt know how he will perform, kinda like in real life. we have yet to see.
Meet Kamala, now itās black like she thinks she is and everything about it is phony like she is. first off it has a fake suppressor, a huge drum like all the lies she tells and itās a puny 22 unlike the real McCoy Ya see, itās a wannabee MP5 like she is a wannabee politician. also please notice the thing sticking out the back of her stock, well we all know what that would be on her. might even have a little curve in it like that one too.
Meet Tim, now i named this one Tim cause it just plain looks weird and in serious need of improvement. so i have help on the way for Tim with a new tailhook pistol brace and new red dot sight. but Tim has another problem, a lot of times i get Tim out to shoot he has this funny string in a couple places. now i donāt know what it is but i damn sure aināt pullin on it.
Well, I guess I am signing off for the night . Wind is blowing heavily and our temps today was supposed to drop from 80 to 56 then 47 the next day on Tuesday some kinda lake effect rain with artic airā¦supposed to be cool all week.good thing is be 70 by next weekend ā¦from the looks of it probably our last nice weekend for the yearā¦
That was off a beef brother had hanging. I got no idea why he cut it like that. Dogs are pretty spoiled, got their share.
Went to a pistol class today. I didnāt do as well as I expect of myself, even though I was still above the class average. Under time pressure, I kept jerking and throwing my shots low. Iām going to do more one-handed and weak-handed dry fire with as heavy a gun as possible so that I build strength and donāt shake as much.
My groups also open up more at distance than they proportionally should. If I can hit 2" circles at 5 yards, I should hit 10" circles at 25 yards, since thatās 5x further away, but instead Iām opening up to over 20". I want to practice more at 15 yards and out, where I tend to forget to aim small and focus hard on a spot on the target.

Yeah, assuming you do a combat hold over the thing with that not automatically converting to
is likely the proportion of the front site dot, at 5yds you can cover the target nicely, if youāre off 2" it wonāt reflect to poorly, might hit the edge of the target, kill shot, what does that same 2" off equate to at 25yds? 5x the error?

If your group doesnt spread a bit at 25 yds you are shooting too slow. If you are practicing defending yourself or someone else speed to target is more important than group size.
At 25 yds any shots on a paper plate size target is good.
Sometimes when Iām at the indoor range, and often if Im schooling someone, I hang the target backwards. You would be amazed how much easier it it to shoot bullseyes when you canāt see the bullseye.
I bet if you talk to someone really knowing, they would say distance to group size isnāt one to one linear, probably more like two or three to one (or more). Otherwise we would all be shooting 10inch groups at 1000 yards.
