Trails trough the woods that don’t see much traffic, the result is two tracks where the tires keep the vegetation from growing

Depending where in the country you are that’s likely a good reference,

I tend to think a lot are old logging roads, and sometimes even current ones to, often the muddiest, seen some areas both recently and currently being clear cut

Seen this tree on the edge of one, as I drove by I seen a wolfs head, backed up asked the wife to get a pic, later she said it looked like something else to her, I leave that up to you to guess

Odd how it appears to have grown down

A lot of my younger days drinking and driving was the pastime so I got pretty familiar with two tracking, getting stuck, walking, knocking on strangers doors, which when you’re way the hell out in nowhere’s land can be pretty damn exciting stuff

My drive is a two track, common for people with acreage, it can make going to someones door intimidating, more especially if they have supremacist banners and militia paraphernalia as you head down a long narrow drive, have met a lot of interesting people needing to use a phone or to request a pull out of the mud, more so if its their property your stuck on :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yep, been there done that

Met a guy once, 10" swastika tattooed across his chest, he had a phone, told me he hadn’t paid the bill in a year that the phone company just left it on, reasons to be guessed, told me some crazy stories, I could tell some as well.

Got the 10mm lighting out today, had exactly 3 rounds when it stopped feeding. Just noticed a half a case on the ground. Other half in the chamber.
Think I need to pull the barrel to get it out, not a range fix.
Locked back on single round check indicating not too much mass and spring in the recoil, split case makes me think I need even a little more, unless that was a fluke.

Chopped one in half?

Damn, empty case rather than live round I hope?

Thinking similar to my 308 issue where I needed a heavier buffer?

Yes, it fired. What I understand when 308’s do that (and 10mm!) The bolt starts moving before pressure drops enough for brass to deflate.
Had an L1A1 and a bunch of surplus amm0 that was notorious for that.
Think polishing the chamber may be first thing to do.

Have to make a range tool to remove it in case it happens again. Hoping it’s a fluke, im out of room for adding more mass.

8 posts were split to a new topic: Reloading 10mm questions

General Flynn was on infowars yesterday and shared that the 43 current national emergencies have extreme contingencies attached and ready to use to shut us down, sure enough, they are listed on Wiki too

each having been renewed annually

Including shutting down and claiming any size and all farms and bank accounts
