I worked my guts out today had to mow lawn with weed eater( longer story for tomorrow) installed winch on jeep ( story tomorrow) im hittin the hay.

Oh man that sounds wonderfully delicious.
Well, so I promised a longer story âŚ
My house is on about a pretty good lot about close to half an acre. The pulley on the decknon my rider went kaplooey and burnt the belt off. Tried to find one initially couldnt find it.
Then it got scorching hot and killed 99% of my grass so I was like 
. Well so this went on for about 3 weeks then we got a few small rains and the darn stuff started growing again. Well it started getting tall and well I hadnât found the parts.
Sooo the weedeater was employed to mow the lawn⌠does anyone have any idea how hard it is to make a good looking job of your lawn with a weedeater. Well 3.5hours. Later I called it good. Came gimping into the house hands and back a killin me 
. (Took a good shower) rested for about an hour and ate a sandwhich.
Then I said well dangit I need to get that winch on the Jeep so I went out started drilling and cutting why ? Because the holes made winch too close to the grill. I had to make plates due to redrilling the holes. So I had nothing to cut the steel I bought besides a hacksaw. Lordy that took quite awhile then i had to drill em. Then plate it up underneath to shore up the new holes which were close to the old. Darn spaces up in there to get anything done is a nightmare. So both my hands are sore from trying to squeeze size XXL into size XL spaces . All in all it took me neigh On 5 hours. I couldnât plate between the bumper and frame due to the bolts were too short. But its done and a couple weekends ago added center caps polished aluminum ones.

I been watching those 12000 pound winches for about 2 yrs. And finally they had a sell several months ago for 100.00 off. So I snagged one up. Comes with synthetic rope , wireless remote control and of course free spoil

Well,
The truck with the upgraded tires and suspension components weighs about 5800. Now as I understand from other offroad Jeepers. That when in a bind especially in where the vehicle is on steep incline or heavy mud with that muddy suction then the over and above is necessary to recover the vehicle. Conversly it was also brought up that while assisting in the recovery of other Jeepers that the weight of there rig could potentially be more or there may be a stump or large rock that must be overcome and again they suggested to "Go big or Go home " so that is why I literally have twice what I need from a straight line pull.

Add Rooftop Defense to the very short list (Voltr, Armalite) that knows they are longer then AR 15 extensions.
