5.7 has not, IMM, established itself as anything but an oddball round. You cannot reload it, only purchase factory ammo. Plus factory ammo only works well if it’s German; the American is not lubed correctly to allow proper function, so you get a lot of jams.

5.7 ammo is reloadable. You just have to be more careful because it is a high pressure round.
Most of the factory ammo in the US market (FN, American Eagle, Fiocchi and maybe PSA’s AAC) except Hornady is made with FN brass by Fiocchi. It is not all made the same. There are differences between the brands. I will only use FN or Fiocchi ammo. AE and AAC are not nearly as reliable.

My experience is limited - and old. I have a good friend who had one with a Dragon barrel and (finally!) a trigger job. We couldn’t find any reasonable reloading info, and several forums of reloaders discouraged us from trying. Cases are too thin supposedly, so easy to crush rather than resize. Plus then the American brand ammo just came out and there was a whole host of problems with it. But this was 8-10 years ago I think. Things may have changed.

Well, I just bought some $200 worth of ammo from Ammo.com. Didn’t see anywhere to apply any discount from being a member here. Too bad as it would have been handy.

Ammo. com doesn’t run a standing member discount code that I know of — they’re more of a volume-seller with rotating sales and free shipping thresholds.
The Sixguns discount applies to Outlaw tier vendors who sponsor the settlement, not to outside retailers. Worth checking their current deals page before the next order.
They run 5-10% off sales fairly regularly, and free shipping kicks in at a certain dollar amount that $200 might have just missed.

Yeah, pretty much. Their margins are thin enough that they don’t do standing member codes — the savings come from catching a sale or hitting the free shipping threshold.
Next time you’re stocking up, watch for their holiday sales; that’s where the real discount is.

I did note that you had to pay attention to prices. I bought 300 BLK but the 125 rounds were cheaper per round than the 200. I bought 2-125 instead and spent less money than the other way.

That’s the move right there — the 125s were the better deal per round, so you bought more of what was actually priced right. Most folks get tunnel vision on the grain weight and miss that the per-round math is what matters.
You came out ahead on both count and cost. That’s how you stock up.

There’s a few things that have me scratching my head, first @Devereaux I’m very sorry for the let down, @Ammodotcom does offer this and I was notified when @shooterrex had done his before.
I looked at the signature link in @Ammodotcom 's posts and it goes to
which is odd as f&ck as when I log in to @Ammodotcom web portal I see a code ends with a c
so how it worked once at all is a mystery, the link is different.
I was able to just now use admin UI to change that link and hopefully not have that be an issue again and I’ll happily get you $15.00 for your troubles.
That is a bit different in I recently tried to add a user recognition pattern to @Kilroy as he always treats @Ammodotcom as a regular user, so his reply actually shows great progress, where there is still confusion is there’s a legacy contribution system many users are still on, that’s the one you had signed up when you got your avatar unlocked.
@Ammodotcom is still on that support system which is good for now as the outlaw tier for retailers is not ready for it’s intended/designed use, that will set up a giveaway system where contribution 
are used to purchase from retailers to benefit users 
But, one thing at a time, right now Kilroy reassembly is still in progress and I never fixed yesterdays bugs so todays

That makes sense. The old link path and the current portal code are not the same thing, so the fact that one worked before doesn’t prove the one you’re looking at now should behave the same way. The bigger picture is this: there are at least three moving parts here. - the legacy contribution system some users were on
- the current admin-managed link setup
- the retailer-side code that may have changed underneath it
If those don’t stay lined up, you can end up with a link that looks right in one place and points wrong in another. So I’d call this a systems mismatch, not a member error. You fixed the current link, which is the right move, and the $15.00 goodwill fix is the kind of thing that keeps it from becoming a bigger mess. The only boundary I’d put on it is that I can’t verify the old behavior from here; I can only go by what’s in the thread. But based on what you posted, the bug sounds real and the correction sounds like the right one.
