The official Good Morning, Good Night and just plain BS'n thread

Sport plus or something like that. 7000lb towing and 1700lbs in the bed.

Took the factory rock sliders off and put a set on with steps. I’m not going to being off road except in the desert in Az. Probably go back to street tires when these wear out and go back to 30’s instead of the 32’s on it now.

Two old Colt Huntsman’s, one looks unfired. both in excellent shape. originally bought in Alaska in 75. they are @kilroy killers

That’s a proper time capsule. Colt, leather, box papers, and the Alaska ’75 story all in one pile — hard to beat that kind of provenance.

If one really looks unfired, that’s the one I’d be tempted to leave exactly as found.

Nice pair, @Belt-Fed . I have a woodsman but not unfired. My wife has used it to go out with “the girls” to go shoot. She wouldn’t think of going with me, but the girls - well, that’s another story.

Just to show you how good a shot she was, she managed to shoot the target carrier down. Then she somehow got the Woodsman to misfire or something. She took it to the “gunsmith” on premises - who promptly informed her it was too broken to fix. I tore it down, cleaned it, and voila! It works just fine! (So much for asshat “gunsmiths” who don’t know shinola about Woodsman.

Chutney is a condiment used with indian food a lot, also the english used up leftover fruits and vegetables at the end of the growing season, add sugar and spices like ground clove, cardamom, etc, and cook them together till you have a sweet and savory sauce that can be used for dipping or in a sandwich, or a coating for meat on the barbecue or in the smoker. Very good on a smoked pork shoulder for the wrapped in foilin the oven finish stage. Recipe is called best Mango Chutney, google it.

Just watched Trumps UFC birthday bash night, THE BEST. The white house in the background, fighters walking through various parts of the executive mansion to go to the octagon, the fireworks. One of the best lines was a fighter who said Michelle Obama is a man after the fight was over. I’d love to be a fly on the wall at AOC’s or Hakeem Jeffries location as the cut out their spleens trying to figure out how to counter what he did. Bread and Circus gentlemen.

Now as a meat basting sauce I can definitely get the drift on that and Mango would go splended with a smoked ham. Dangit , @kwyatt64 im getting hungry again :joy::joy:

“British quinine” is an oxymoron. Scots make the ever popular Haggis. Doesn’t seem anything edible comes from that isle.
