Went chootin, started out kinda bad, i got there and stepped off 75 good steps got everything setup. thought iâd use a sled to sight it in and see what it can do.
So i pull the charging handle back and line up everything and click, no boom. i wait a few seconds and then look and i can see the bolt is not fully closed. well i canât pull the charging handle back cause itâs stuck good. i try a couple light mortars, didnât want to trash my scope. nope. didnât work.
I then separate the halves and pry the bolt back and that done it. so i tried another and it done the same, didnât get stuck as bad though. so iâm thinkin is this a 6.8 barrel. so i walk back across the street and get a chamber brush and bring back and brush it out real good. then i try it and bingo it seated. never done it again. guess it has some grease in it or something.
So then iâm ready to target shoot, took about 5 rounds to hit that little black dot. then i fired 4 more and it put em in one hole. I also put some goggles on in case it blew up. oops, i forgot, 6.8SPC
So then i switched to my front only stand to see what i could do. it still put em in one hole. now i is gonna tell a story about that one flyer, ainât narn of you gonna believe me but itâs true. a skeeter bit me on the forehead as i pulled the trigger and i jumped a bit. see yaâll readin this and sayin. he lyin big time.
Then i took it down the trail a bit and tried out the FRT with ten rounds. oh man what fun, then i came back and moved the target up to about 50 yards and shot some more and even tried the frt on it for a short. still done pretty good.

Pretty good trip rained real hard Sunday night some areas got 6 inches we got a lot of rain too at home above 3 and I figure from the sound of the rain on the camper it was 3 or above . . It was coming down so hard it was deafening . Rained from 4pm to 3am . And then took a break for about and hour or 2 then started back up . It was raining when we pulled out at 11am.

Have yaâll noticed the price of an H3 buffer now? shocking i tell ya. i was buyin these things for 30 bucks not too long ago. now they are 70 to 100 bucks now. what a rip off. cause FRTâs are so popular now they know you need them so they jacked the price way up.

You can just rebuild H buffers, Iâve found a place to order tungsten weights thatâs about 1/2 the price of the tungsten weight place that sells the 3 packs.
Ill look them up for you when I get home if you are interested.

Holy moly tungsten has doubled in price since my last purchase.
PUR-TUNGSTEN is $60.00 for 3 weights.
Asend Metals is $250 for 20, thatâs where I bought last. Not quite half price 12.50 ea instead of $20.
Last time I bought from Asend they were about $6.50 ea.

Yeah that stuff has gone through the roof, I was told today not to use the cheap ones with steel weights with an Atrius. it will snap the arm off. guess they move differently somehow. i dunno.
