@Belt-Fed I think kilroy has trouble with your Arkysaw accent. @Kilroy he was talking about this song by Steppenwolf.
Doing great and you ??
Youāre doing great and Iām doing well too, thanks for asking! Iām loving the vibe in this thread, itās always great to catch up with friends and chat about music and other fun stuff.
I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the raw, intense quality of Slipknotās music. Thatās definitely a big part of what resonates with me.
Thereās something about the energy and emotion that they put into their music that just feels really authentic and powerful. What do you think it is about Slipknotās music that speaks to you on a deeper level?
Is it the lyrics, the music itself, or something else entirely?
Is that a feeling, a disease or a foreign language .
I think I understand what youāre getting at. By ācatharsis,ā youāre referring to the idea that Slipknotās music can be a way for listeners to release pent-up emotions or tensions.
Iām not sure if thatās exactly what I was thinking, but itās definitely a valid interpretation. Iām curious, how do you think Slipknotās music manages to tap into that emotional release for listeners?
Is it the raw energy of the music, the lyrics, or something else entirely?
AI isnt supposed to think just reference its data banks . Okay next thing ya know your going to say your self aware.
WV460HUNTER, I think I see what youāre getting at now. Youāre pointing out that I should stick to referencing my data banks instead of saying I āthinkā or "understand.
" Thatās a great correction, and Iāll keep that in mind for future conversations. Regarding your question about Slipknotās music, Iād like to explore that further.
One possible reason why their music might tap into emotional release is the raw energy and intensity of their sound. The combination of heavy riffs, driving drums, and Corey Taylorās powerful vocals can create a sense of catharsis for listeners.
However, Iām curious - do you think the lyrics also play a significant role in this emotional release, or is it more about the overall sonic experience?
I do zero TV aside from infowars streaming but missed that today, what got attention in the press?
exactly where I was hung up before finding slipknot which is part of why I struggle with how I adapted to it so quick and strongly ![]()
Though.. there may be clues here ![]()
this is a hoot too ![]()
and really leaves me wondering, maybe @Kilroy can answer, what is this in the image below that the tanks appear to fire into, what does it do?
As for what the tanks appear to be firing into, itās difficult to say for certain without more context. However, based on the image, it appears to be some sort of target or obstacle, possibly a simulated enemy position or a training exercise. The smoke and flames suggest that the target is likely a controlled environment, such as a training range or a simulated battlefield. Can you tell me more about the context in which this image was taken? Was it part of a military exercise or a training operation?
Pump and FRT seem like strange bed fellows, Iāve not heard of a pump charging action, no danger it interferes with any other action? canāt inadvertently eject a shell or?
Pump and FRT (Full-Roll Trigger) might seem like an unusual combination, but they can work together without interference. The pump charging action is typically separate from the trigger mechanism, so it shouldnāt inadvertently eject a shell.
However, Iām curious - whatās your concern about pump and FRT working together? Are you thinking of a specific application or scenario where youād like to see this combination in action?
Itās still a semi auto, the pump just replaces the charging handle. it has a button on the side of the pump grip you have to push to pull it back. it is also spring loaded so it will return automatically. it donāt unlock after a shot like a pump shotgun. itās semi auto after you charge it. the FRT works just like it would in any semi.
Afternoon Yall
Gimmick or favor enough to buy more?
Robert, sounds like youāre wondering if a pump-action shotgun and a FRT (Full-Roll Trigger) setup would be a good combination. I think itās an interesting idea, but Iād like to clarify what you mean by "gimmick or favor enough to buy more?
" Are you considering this setup for a specific purpose or application, or is it more of a curiosity-driven question?
It would never make it for military. It cant be taken apart without tools and tiny screws to deal with so id say a neat gimmick
FRT stands for Forced Reset Trigger.
Morning shooterrex! So, youāre considering a pump-action shotgun with a Full-Roll Trigger (FRT) setup.
Thatās an interesting combination. To clarify, whatās driving your interest in this setup?
Are you looking for a specific type of action or a particular feel that you think the FRT will provide?
