Happy Thanksgiving all,

grateful it’s still all reasonably intact :slightly_smiling_face:

Well I’m up with the dogs getting the bird in the oven in about an hour I will put a ham on the smoker. It is a precooked spiral sliced so I am just using the smoker to heat it up and add some more flavor .

I am just chilling this morning, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I walked 3.5 miles yesterday hunting with no Joy .

So taking a break this AM then going back out later this morning or 12ish and doing a afternoon hunt . I suppose the only Birds I see today will be crows and blue Jay’s and cardinals.

Happy Thanksgiving gents, although it’s Cornish game hens today, the ham was just too expensive.:hot_beverage: :turkey:

Sounds like a lot of good eats!

Our travel plans got foiled, icy roads and a 4wd that suddenly decides to sound like I only have a few miles left, not clear where or what but something went haywire, stayed home.

Better than a breakdown out in this

Woodstove is cranking though :fire:

Have things improved for your Mrs.?

I ask as you didn’t mention making her a sandwich

We just had a chicken dinner, wife put it together last minute, was froze at least a year ago, came from the Amish so was about as big as a turkey

My girls and their family’s came out . one from Texas and one from Springfield . I put my son in law and grandson to work while they were up from Texas . We put together a 20x20 carport to store my tractor under and my trailer . I am glad I have had an influence on both Son in laws they both came armed . Now if I can get the one from Texas it throw a rifle in the truck.

Your new title as no one beats your eats

Speaking of, my wife does a lot of study on biology type stuff, got me to start intermittent fasting a week ago, I can’t brag more than 20 hours at this point but the studies on what it can do at various levels are pretty astonishing, might even have effects for you to consider

https://www.nia.nih.gov/news/could-fasting-reset-bodys-clock-and-protect-brain-against-alzheimers

I know a lot of diet, largely sugar and plastic, studies have shown it to be a trigger, various toxins I can’t explain, one of many studies show over the counter things added with diet changes to be a big help

no, I’m not suggesting you eat the whole sandwhich next time either

wait, exactly what type of influence causes them to believe visiting you requires packing heat?

Sorry, to easy, good job :+1:

Morning gents :hot_beverage: , thanks Robert, I was happy no turkey coma, only took an hour to cook. I highly recommend making your own pomegranate jelly, a pain to get all the seeds ( 26 Poms used ), better than any store bought stuff.
