They call us NAZI’s but I feel like I fail to live up to their expectations as I can listen to music contrary to how I myself grew up with and also to what I feel a NAZI should listen to, careful though, this does get stuck in your head

A few thought’s on #GoTrump cutting public funding to #PBS and #NPR, although congress approved said funding through 2027. A disclaimer, I contribute to PBS, 10 dollars a month because there is no other place to find certain programming like Antiques Roadshow, Finding Your Roots, etc.
An organization publicly funded ought to accurately report news and events. #TheNewshour hasn’t done this since the unfortunate passing of Gwen Ifill on November 14, 2016. I stopped watching soon after. The alarming turn to woke leftism was swift.
Since that time, PBS has consistently reported biased news. OPB is especially bad, trying to find programming not specifically gender, or race based is difficult. The #MeToo movement ruined Finding Your Roots.
Any organization or corporation publicly funded should be impartial and offer opposing viewpoints, as The Newshour once did. Remember Shields and Brooks ? #Trump is Not Censoring any news organisations. If the news presented is credible, it ought not need public funding to survive.

Nowadays, most usages of “Nazi” just get a yawn. The pulpy gravitas has been beaten out of the term.
Real Nazis who actually worship Hitler and actually want racial eugenics do exist. But mention of them has gotten so diluted that we have alert fatigue.

Oh yes. Before 2016, the newshour was the best place for in-depth global news. Gwen kept them all in line, there was always two opposing viewpoints, viewers could make up their own minds. On friday’s david shields and mark brooks anchored the weeks political news without rancor. I grieve for the loss of journalists who are greater than the issues they would report on.

We have streaming. Tubi, pluto, hulu on disney (will trent, love betty), amazon prime. It’s the commercial free aspect, oh and the Ken Burns documentaries.
