I’m also presuming you all know Bronson was Leone’s first choice for the Fist Full of Dollars series but turned it down. It then went on to make Clint the hollywood star he was. Bronson then took the Once Upon A Time In The West role, which pretty much bombed here in the. states but turned out a huge blockbuster hit in Europe.
I did know Bronson was considered and turned that down ,but I didnt know it boomed in the states .
The opening scence in that moviebis one of the greatest opening scence’s of all time !!!
Harmonica: And Frank?
Snaky: Frank sent us.
Harmonica: Did you bring a horse for me?
Snaky: [Chuckling] It looks like we’re… it looks like we’re shy of one horse!
Harmonica: You brought two too many. [Harmonica shoots the three henchmen dead]
Thats right !!!
Yes, Devereaux, I understand it’s a logarithmic scale (as well as what a logarithmic scale is). I had found references that indicated an increase of 3 dB represented a doubling of the sound pressure level. This made sense mathematically but not practically.
Finally came across a site that pulled it all together for me, explaining that, although a 3dB increase doubles the sound pressure level, it takes a 10dB increase for the human ear to perceive a doubling in the sound. Looking at the above chart of firearm “noises”, I can certainly agree that an unsupervised .223 sounds 2-½ times as loud as an unsupervised .22, 165dB vs 140dB.
Eureka!
Hmmmmm, apparently, unsupervised = unsuppressed in auto-correct
Huh, what did you say, I dont hear so well
Well last year I was shooting my big revolver and got sidetracked after I went and reviewed my target . Forgot to put my earmuffs back down on my ears. Sat down at the bench and cracked a shot off. Well, trust me I couldnt hear for 3 min. At least . My left ear rang for a week. It literally was so bad I had to stop shooting at the range.
I dont know how many decibels a 460 has but it definitely rung my bell.
The 454 will give you permant hearing loss. 460 is a bit more than that. We went to the range today and just shot 9mm. Wearing my Walkers earmuffs and my ears are still ringing.
I know from experience if you miss the eyes and ears call on the range you quickly realize it, amazing how much ear protection actually does help
I mean its a scary thing to think that all sound has went away. I couldnt get the ringing to stop then I read online that running can increase the bloodflow to the ear region and around those nerves so I went dont and started running on the treadmill after about 3/4 of a mile I felt some releif and I completed the mile and the next day the ringing was gone. I have been very careful since.
?So what’s the site.
It’s a reference page for a UK-based signaling device company; think sirens and back up alarms, so their customers want to be sure to get someone’s attention
Hello everyone,
I’m nightstryke or nightstryke 1, if you’re comfortable enough you can call me Mike and I enjoy long walks on my gun range and praising our lord and savior John Moses Browning…
I’ve got a minor youtube channel where i talk about guns, politics, gun rights, and sometimes technology or other controversial topics.
I’ve got a backyard gun range as well, probably need to expand it, but I’m happy with it for now.
I know quite a few YouTubers in the gun space as well, some of them used to be on Full30 as well. I just never got the invite before Full30 made changes and switched over to Juxxi and then Sixguns.
LOL,
How long is the range?
That happened
But not that, we’re literally an independent community
About 75 to 100 yards on 30 acres. So there’s room to make it larger, plus normally those walks usually include a battle rifle or assorted magazine fed rifle, shotgun, or pistol.
Welcome @nightstryke , what is your youtube channel called. I watch @colionnoir a lot, well a lot of youtube period. My name is Chris, or the
on seasoning secrets. I would love to have my own range.
Welcome @nightstryke I enjoy the John Moses Browning stuff too.
