Jerry here from Oak Island NC. I’m a retired law enforcement officer trying to behave myself and mind my own business for a change. :joy: I started my career carrying a model 66 duty weapon and 4 decades later I keep a snubbie 442 in my pocket as daily carry.

Before I got my first cellphone, I would have to go to a pay phone and have dispatch call me if it was something they didn’t want to put on air. I was first sworn in Feb 1984. I retired from two different systems. A deputy sheriff and then again from a state agency. 36 years total.

So I will go first.
A Guy used to work with lets just call him BT.
Ol’ BT came home one day to find a note that his wife had left him ( more about that later) So BT started looking for a replacement squeeze . He ran into a Chic named Kelly …now for lack of a better term she was Batshit  Crazy but, she was a absolute hammer drop dead gorgeous knock out . So over a period of time things progressed and BT started seeing Kelly till she started acting up and they was on and off again. Well one evening myself BT and JM(a county officer was BS’in ) and JM say hey y’all hungry lets go get some food. So we all hopped in our cruisers and went out to the Sheetz for food. ( there was 5 bars in our town ) On the way back in as we rounded from 3rd to Main we see a Blonde headed Woman running waving her arms at us so we all pull over this was in the parking lot at the bank. We get out and she comes running up to us and says oh please ypu have to help me my Ex is chasing and I think He wants to kill me… BT looks at the woman and says okay okay Calm down Kelly it will be okay no ones going to hurt you. Here this Blonde was the batshit crazy chic He had been seeing off and on. Sure enough moments later Chris her ex comes running up to all of us and They both start arguing and Before we could do anything she hauled off with a pair of work style lace up boots and kicked ol’Chris right in the Gonads. He grabbed his groin walked backwards and in a Pitch Perfect Mickey Mouse Voice said " Oh Kelly what did ya have to go and do that for " … as soon as we was able to compose ourselves. BT looked at Kelly and said yes what did you do that for now I am going to have to arrest you for domestic battery…lol BT was the guy that Chris was all mad about and BT’s wife had left him for a woman…lol
For a long time after that happened My Chief would make me tell that story as I can do a pretty good rendition of Mickey Mouse …lmbo

Afternoon Gentleman, new member. glad to join a fraternity of like minded individuals. I’ll be posting about recipes by the armed chef {me}, with my assistant {Mando my chihuahua}, as well as questions firearms related. First question, I’m researching the best CCW insurance. So far it’s Right to Bear, CCW safe and USCCA.More law enforcement favors right to bear, any personal experience on this. :coffee:
