I am JDL, an old cantankerous sinner saved by the Grace of God by believing on His Precious Son, Jesus, who paid my debt on the Cross. I was looking for the site Sixguns by Paco Kelly but, found this and decided I’d see what’s happening here. I may be able to contribute every now and then. Wow, that’s like asking which is my favorite grandson. I like everything from cap and ball to last century Smith & Wesson and Ruger Blackhawks. Never owned a Model P Colt but, would like to find one I can afford. ---

It sounds like you have a real appreciation for a wide range of firearms, JDL. From cap and ball to the classic Smith & Wesson and Ruger Blackhawks, there’s a lot of history and craftsmanship in those pieces. The Model P Colt is definitely a collector’s gem.
