Cool but not size practical IMO
You have to take calibre into consideration. The “smaller” calibres are smaller guns.
I looked at one of them desert eagles at the gun show saturday, don’t even know what caliber it was. picked it up and thought, good lord This thing would make a great trotline weight.
You must have looked at a .44 Mag or .50 A&E. Those puppies ARE large. It’s one reason you can shoot them like any other centerfire handgun. I personally fine the classic S&W Model 29 to just be too much gun to shoot with any regularity, but I also admit to being a little recoil-averse. My Dessert Eagle is the perfect pistol to shoot .44 Mags with - IMO.
